Question9: How do I schedule an appointment to take the GMAT Test?

Question11: How much does GMAC charge for the GMAT registration?
Answer: There is a $250 fee to register for the GMAT exam.
Question12: What are the test dates for the GMAT exam?
Answer: You have the option to choose the available dates according to your schedule, and level of preparation. The exam dates are available throughout the year. However, the availability might depend on the target months. July to December are relatively busier than the other spots on the calendar due to the application cycle of the b-schools.

Question15: What if I need to reschedule the test date?
Answer: Contact GMAT Customer Service in your area or reschedule it online. There is a $50 charge to reschedule to test at least 7 days before your exam date. If you reschedule your test date within 7 days of the final exam, you will be charged the entire fee again. The new appointment must be within six months of the original appointment.
Question16: What if I need to cancel my exam appointment?
Answer: Contact GMAT Customer Service in your region or cancel your appointment online. If you cancel your test appointment at least seven full calendar days in advance of the date and time of your appointment, you may be eligible to receive a partial refund of US $80. If you cancel your appointment within seven full calendar days of your scheduled test date and time, you may forfeit your entire registration fee.
Question17: What if I am a citizen of one country and testing in another country?
Answer: You must have a valid, unexpired passport. If you do not have proper identification, contact GMAT Customer Service in your region before your test date.
Question18: How often can I take the GMAT exam ?
Answer: You can take the GMAT once every 31 calendar days and no more than five times in a 12-month period
Question19: What ID do I need to take to the test center?
Answer: The ID must be government-issued, valid (not expired), original (no photocopies), legible and include:
- A recent, recognizable photo
- Your name in the Roman alphabet, spelled exactly as you provided when you registered
- Your signature
- Your date of birth as you provided at registration
- Acceptable IDs include a driver’s license, government-issued ID, military ID, permanent resident/green card, or passport. Learn more about presenting proper identification.

Answer: GMAT score is accepted by more than 4,800 graduate management programs around the world. Please visit the admissions section of your target school to find out their GMAT Code. You can send the score reports to these schools from the official website of GMAT
Question21: After how long do I get to know my scores?
Answer: You get to know your scores in verbal and quantitative instantly after you finish your exam. Your AWA scores are available within 20 days of the completion of the test and are sent through an official score report. You may also check your official scores online.
Question22: If I’ve taken the GMAT exam more than once, will the score report contain all the scores?
Answer: Official score reports will contain scores for all the attempts you have taken in the last five years. If you have at any time in the past cancelled your official test after the attempt, your official score report will not reflect any scores for that attempt, and will have blanks for all the sections. However, the schools will be notified of the missed attempt through the official score report sent by you.
Question23: How do I order additional score reports, and how long do they take?
Answer: You can send your scores to five schools as a part of the original registration fee. You will be required to select the schools before starting the test. You will need to pay extra for every school in addition to these five.
