I am joining Cornell for their session starting in Fall 2010 as I want to do an MBA in Finance and become an Investment Banker. I had applied to several colleges last year as well, and got admission from IIM – A Executive program.
I was not very sure of what I want to do after MBA, and one of my friends recommended PythaGURUS. I was overwhelmed to see PythaGURUS’ thorough research in the career opportunities, and the clarity in the short term and long term goals that the candidates get while doing the applications. They took the lead in designing my essays, helping me in my thought process, and after story I submitted, I got a very detailed feedback on what is missing, and how to develop it more. I was working for an IT company in Bangalore, and had worked in the IT division of UBS in India as they were our client, and I wanted to be an investment banker but did not know much about it. My admission counselor spent quality time with me in explaining me the industry, and how to go about finding more details. It was a great experience overall, and co-incidentally my interviewer was also an ex-investment banker, and I was very conversant about “Why I want to do investment banking?” after Cornell. I did several rounds of interviews while preparing and became an expert before I finally faced the actual one.
